Electrical Engineer
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems to join our clean energy company. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electricity distribution network. Responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and optimizing electrical systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the innovation of new technologies in the clean energy sector.
Responsibilities
Power System Design: Lead the design and development of electrical systems, focusing on power distribution, transmission, and related infrastructure.
Project Management: Oversee electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, and timelines.
Reliability and Maintenance: Conduct regular assessments of our power systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement maintenance plans to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the generation, hardware and software departments to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the broader power network.
Innovation: Stay informed about advancements in power system technologies, contribute ideas for improvements, and participate in research and development activities.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all power systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
Emergency Response: Be part of the team responsible for addressing electrical emergencies, outages, and other critical incidents.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in electrical).
An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in engineering or a related field is a plus.
2-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience with project management and coordination.
